OUR TEAM

As a strong, independent business woman, Katrina D. Worsham, works diligently to give back to the community that has supported her through the years. Her professional mission through her agency is to help people overcome the risks and struggles of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams...as she has realized her own.

After graduating with a B.S. degree from Arkansas State University, Katrina accepted a job with State Farm Insurance Companies in 1995. Simultaneously, she began decades of service to her country as a reservist in the United States Army. Six years later, she was appointed a fully licensed State Farm Agent and began running her own agency in South Shreveport, helping clients throughout Northern Louisiana with their insurance and financial needs.

While running her own business has kept her busy, she also found opportunities to give back in other ways. Katrina served as president of the Minority Business Council (2008), on the Central Vice President's Council in 2005, and as a member of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. From 2009 to 2013, she worked on Louisiana's Workforce Commission and in 2014, Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover appointed Katrina to serve on the City Workforce Commission. She is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.

In 2010, Due to her passion to help women discover themselves, she founded Make Me Mold Me Empowerment, Inc. which officially organized January 15, 2015. Through it, she provides guidance in self-development, goal planning, and leadership by sharing with fellow men and women their experience and life-lessons. She strives to motivate and help other women recognize their potential and live holistic lives.

Katrina is a recipient of the “2015 Lifetime Achievement Award” with the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and presented as Queen of Krewe of Harambee for 2015-2016 Mardi Gras season. Over the years, she's received many accolades in recognition of her contributions, including: Business Woman of the Year, Business Person of the Year, African American Achievement Award, two separate Small Business of the Year awards, and Athena Women’s Nominate. In 2023, Katrina was honored as the Non Profit professional of the year by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce.

After over 20 years of service, she retired from the Army, but continues her civilian work as a successful State Farm Agent and a Notary Public. Her commitment to customer service and the community as a whole helped grow her business. In 2015, she was asked to temporary service a second State Farm office in Minden. Katrina, along with her teams at both State Farm locations, take great pride in their goal to provide knowledge, respect, and good service to each and every customer, which they so richly deserve. Katrina feels she is truly blessed in her life and career, recognition that came when she fully realized "God is in Complete Control."
